How to Check the Performance of Antivirus?

It's been a long time since I discussed about PC security last time. Because I've talked about MSE and Windows Defender . If you use any of the two in your PC, I believe you don't need any other security tools to protect your PC. But if you use any third party security tools or if you've any doubt about your current security software, you can check its performance by a sample virus !  Windows users often purchase security software ie. Norton, Kaspersky, Bit Defender etc. Many of them use trial versions to protect the system. But how much safe you are? Are these tools really working for you? Can these tools detect viruses or worms? Let's check it!  Go to Run by Pressing Start + R Type Notepad and hit Enter Copy and Paste the following code on notepad Now Save the file as Virus.exe  Scan the file with your antivirus X5O!P%@AP[4\PZX54(P^)7CC)7}$EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE!$H+H* If your security tool is strong and if...

Built in Security in Windows 8

If you're using Windows 8 then you don't need to purchase Anti Virus or Security Tool!  Windows 8 has a built in antivirus program named Windows Defender.  Windows defender was also included with windows vista and 7. But its functions were very limited. In windows 8, defender has been redesigned like Microsoft Security Essentials. The skin and interface of New Windows Defender is just like MSE. But maybe there are significant changes in case of performance.  Earlier Microsoft released free security software for PC users- Microsoft Security Essentials. But it was not default. To enhance the security of new Windows, defender has been included with it. Certainly you'll enjoy this.   Features and Facilities:  100% Free (No Option of Serial Key or Crack!) No installation required- Built in Fast, safe and reliable Scan Real Time Protection Never Slow Down PC No Unnecessary Messages Options to allow, remove, disinfect or quarantine...

Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE)

Computer and computer virus are extremely involved. Maybe inactive but almost all computers have some viruses. If it is a Windows Platform PC then the possibility is triple. Because more than 80% PC runs on Windows OS. So hackers' first target is windows based PCs. To  guard  viruses, there are many antivirus programs. Such as Kaspersky, Norton, Bit Defender, Avast, Avira and so many. But none of them is perfect. Some of them make your PC secured but slow down the performance. Some of them are over smart. They detect a  normal  file as virus. Sometimes there are numerous commands. Users get confused with this commands and options.  Besides every year you need to purchase a new license. And if you are a trial user, then you have some other jobs to do. Each and every month you need to download the program again. Then sometimes Antivirus denies to delete a virus if you are a trial user etc etc.  But if you use Microsoft Security Essentials ...
