Search engines run the world. Internet world is useless without search engines. You may argue that Facebook is not a search engine. But it's a big search engine. Facebook needs to search appropriate person, place or group for you! When you need to find something, we usually search this either in Google, Bing or Yahoo. But a tiny blog or website should also have a search engine.  Most of the websites and even blogs have a search option. It makes easier to find something in your site.
