Add a business/ place in Google Maps


Google Maps is a great communication app developed by Google. Millions of entities are already listed on it. But your own business may be missing here. If you'd like to add your business to Google Maps, follow this post . . . 
Necessary Tools

  • Android Phone with GPS & Data Connection
  • Google Account
  • Google Maps App
  • My Business App (Optional)

Adding your Business to Maps
  1. Get your Android Phone and turn on its GPS & Data Connection.
  2. Make sure you're signed into your Google Account and its services.
  3. Run Google Maps from your Phone.
  4. I guess you're exactly on your business spot. Make sure the location indicator is in exact position.
  5. Now click on the menu button from the upper left corner.
  6. Scroll down and choose Add a Missing Business.
  7. Add a Place > Enter your business Name, Address, Category, Phone Number, Web Address, Photos etc. 
  8. If the location indicator doesn't locate your position exactly, then you can use this option (Mark Location on Map) from address.  
  9. Make sure everything is done properly. And finally, hit on the Submit button from the upper right corner.
  10. Immediately Google will confirm your submission through email. 


Step by Step process of adding a business to Maps



Now go to the Maps again and find your business there. Write reviews and add photos of your business to make it more attractive to public.

Joining Texts from Multiple Cells in Excel

  Programs like MS Excel is full of functions. There are many useful functions that we don't use or we don't know about. One of them is CONCATENATE. It means joining or linking. With this function you can join texts from multiple cells. Let's see how . . . Suppose you're working in an Excel Worksheet where you need to combine texts from different cells. Running Total/ Cumulative Sum in Excel

  Hey Guys! You should have noticed that I'm writing on MS Excel for last few days! To be honest I'm trying to learn some simple and useful tricks of Excel. And I'm also trying to share my knowledge with you. In this post I've come with such a little trick which maybe very useful if you face such situation. Let's begin . . .    Running Total/ Cumulative Sum It means the summation of numbers in a list and it will be updated each time when a number is added or changes. Look at the image below -    Look at the image. There are two columns with numbers. The first one is simply the number list. But the 2nd one is the summation of the list.
